Directors


The general policies of the Company are determined and directed by the Board of Directors, comprising of committed and seasoned professionals, with proven track records in their various fields of endeavor. The Board has oversight responsibility to ensure that the corporate objectives are achieved and that businesses is conducted within the ambit of the applicable laws and regulations.
Mr. Alex Okoh
Chairman

ALEX OKOH is the Chairman of PrimeWealth Limited. He has 22 years of experience in the banking industry with extensive responsibilities in general management, leadership and organizational development.

He has functioned in a variety of roles including investment banking, corporate banking, operations and treasury. He was Managing Director/CEO of NNB International Bank Plc from 2001 to 2006, during which time his visionary leadership took the bank to a position of enhanced value for stakeholders. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He has also acquired international working exposure through programs with Citibank New York, Fidelity Bank London, Swiss Banking Corporation Zurich and Grindlays Bank, Zimbabwe.

His former employers include Nigeria International Bank Limited (Citibank), United Bank for Africa Plc, Stanbic Bank Limited (then Grindlays and Merchant Bank of Africa Limited. He studied Sociology at the University of Benin and holds a Masters degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Ibadan.

M. Olusoji Oyawoye
Director

OLUSOJI OYAWOYE is the Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Resource Intermediaries Limited. He has over 19 years experience in the banking industry with extensive responsibilities in relationship management, marketing and business growth.

He has functioned in diverse executive roles and interrelationships covering business development, Treasury management, finance, corporate services and human resources. He is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ilorin and also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the International Association of Outsourcing His previous employers include New Nigerian Bank, Equitorial Trust Bank Plc and Magnum Trust Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc).

Prior to joining Resource Intermediaries Limited, he was Divisional Head, Commercial Banking of Bank of the North Strategic Business Unit (now Unity Bank) where he led the executive team appointed to integrate Bank of the North into Unity Bank Plc.

Obafunmilayo Agusto
Director

OBAFUNMILAYO AGUSTO graduated with Honours in Mathematics from the University of Lagos and is a merit award winner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He has over eighteen years experience with Arthur Andersen, IBFC and our firm, as an auditor, business and financial consultant. His experience spans a number of industries especially banking and financial services, petroleum marketing and manufacturing.

e left Arthur Andersen as head of banking and financial consulting services to co-found IBFC in 1992. He is currently Managing Partner of Alliance Consulting. He was involved in the development of the Nigerian Accounting Standard for Bank and Other Financial Institutions as well as the Prudential Guidelines of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He is a part-time faculty member of the Lagos Business School in the area of Finance.

Mr. Alaba Odunlami Esq.
Director

ALABA ODUNLAMI Esq. is a Legal Practitioner with broad experience in legal practice. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree LLB (Hons) from the University of Lagos, Akoka in 1979 and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where he obtained a Barrister- at- Law degree BL (Hons) in 1980.

He joined the firm of T.O. Shobowale Benson & Company as a Legal Practitioner and worked there till September, 1987 when he resigned to set up his own practice under the name and style of Alaba Odunlami & Company. He was appointed and sworn as a Notary Public of Nigeria in March 1988 and was in December 2004 accredited a Mediator by the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) the leading dispute resolution organisation in the United Kingdom.

He engages in Consultancy work in the areas of Project Design, Management and Implementation especially in the telecommunications sector. He is also on the Neutrals List of the Lagos Multi-Door Court House and a faculty resource person for the Courthouse.

Alhaji Bello Maccido
Director

MALLAM BELLO MACCIDO the Wakilin Sokoto is the current Managing Director CEO of Legacy Pensions Limited. He started his illustrious career in 1990 with Ecobank Nigeria Plc as an Officer in Credit and Marketing. He moved to New Africa Merchant in 1992 as Manager and Head Corporate Banking Division. He joined FSB as a Manager in 1996 and rose steadily to become General Manager and Acting Managing Director in 2004. His responsibilities included spearheading the marketing of the Bank’s Financial Advisory services as well as arranging several big ticket third-party and off balance sheet financing.

Mallam Maccido studied Law at the Ahmadu Bello University and graduated in 1985. He was called to the Bar in 1986. He also holds a Masters degree in Business administration specialising in managerial finance. He is also a Chartered Stockbroker.

Mr. Bimbo Siyanbola
Director

BIMBO SIYANBOLA is the current Managing Director of Great Nigeria Insurance Company Limited (“GNI”). Mr Siyanbola is a seasoned insurance profesional. He studied insurance at the University of Lagos and graduated in 1985 with a Second Class Upper Division winning an award as the best insurance student. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a fellow member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and London respectively. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Directors (London), Institute of Direct Marketing as well as an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing.

Mr. Siyanbola started his insurance career in 1986 as an Underwriting Superintendent with Sentinel Assurance Company. He Joined Great Nigeria Insurance Company in 1987 as Resident Inspector, Branch/Marketing Manager. He subsequently worked with Nigerian French Insurance Company in 1993 as AGM (Marketing) and returned to Great Nigeria Insurance in 1997 as Managing Director. He left GNI briefly between 2005 and 2006 when he served as Managing Director of E & O Power and Equipment Leasing Ltd (a subsidiary of O’dua Investment Limited) and returned to Great Nigeia Insurance in 2006 as Managing Director.Mr Siyanbola brings his wealth of experience to the Board.

He also attended the Strategic Management Program of the National Insurance Academy India as well as the 12th Chief Executive Programme at the Lagos Business School. He has also written several academic papers.
